MMI Tank’s 8-acre fabrication facility at 3240 S. 37th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85009 is where every MMI tank starts. Our Phoenix campus houses the engineering department, fabrication shop, machine shop, coatings facility, and administrative offices — everything under one roof for complete project control from design through shipment.
Phoenix is more than a mailing address. It’s a fully integrated manufacturing plant with the equipment, certifications, and workforce to build any tank we sell — bolted panels, field-erected welded tanks, ASME pressure vessels, shop-built tanks, and custom steel fabrication.

Fabrication Shop
- Computer-controlled plasma cutting tables for precision plate cutting
- Plate rollers for shell course forming — up to thick-wall pressure vessel plates
- Press brakes, shears, and punch presses for panel and structural fabrication
- Overhead cranes to 7.5 tons throughout the shop
- Dedicated welding bays for SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW, and SAW processes
- 8 acres of laydown and staging area for large-diameter tank components
Machine Shop
Full-service industrial machine shop for precision machining, gear box repair, speed reducer rebuilds, and custom part manufacturing. CNC and manual lathes, mills, and boring equipment.
Coatings Facility
In-house industrial coatings with abrasive blast booth, spray application bays, and controlled-cure environment. Factory coating of bolted tank panels, shop-built tanks, and structural steel.
Engineering Department
In-house engineering and design with CAD and structural analysis capabilities. API 650, AWWA D100, ASME BPVC, and NFPA 22 design. Stamped engineering drawings for all jurisdictions.
